Cultural Showcase and Unity Photo at India’s BRICS Summit

The 18th BRICS summit, held at the India Pavilion in New Delhi, combined high‑level diplomacy with a vibrant cultural exhibition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed leaders to view colourful rangoli designs and a curated collection of Indian artefacts, providing a backdrop for informal conversations. While touring the exhibition, Modi was photographed alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping and other heads of state, all sharing smiles and remarks about India’s heritage. One of the summit’s highlights was a collective family‑style photograph taken on the final day. The frame included President Vladimir Putin, President Xi Jinping, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa, Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto, Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Iran’s President Masoud Pajashkian, WHO Director‑General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and several other dignitaries. The image symbolised the solidarity and shared vision among the bloc’s members and invited partners, reinforcing the summit’s theme of resilience and cooperation.
