Cultural Competitions Highlight National Unity in Uttar Pradesh

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign, cultural competitions have become a key medium to convey messages of national unity in Gautam Buddha Nagar. From August 9 through 17, schools and panchayat centres have hosted rangoli, painting and poster contests centred on the tricolour’s symbolism.

Participants are tasked with interpreting the flag’s three hues to illustrate themes such as the struggle for independence, sacrifice of martyrs and the ongoing journey of nation‑building. Judges assess entries based on creativity, relevance and the depth of patriotic sentiment expressed.

In addition to visual arts, students engage in debate and essay writing on topics ranging from the Constitution to the role of national symbols in everyday life. These intellectual exercises aim to deepen their understanding of India’s democratic fabric and encourage critical thinking about civic responsibilities.

Educators and district officials note that these activities not only beautify school environments with vibrant displays of the Tiranga but also foster a shared sense of purpose among children from diverse backgrounds.
