CSIR‑NGRI Hyderabad Calls for Qualified Candidates for Nine Project Positions

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has opened recruitment for nine project‑staff roles at its National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) in Hyderabad. The advertised vacancies consist of one Project Assistant‑II, four Project Associate‑I, one Project Associate‑I/II and three Project Associate‑II positions.

Applications are to be submitted online through the institute’s portal, with the final date for registration set for 13 August. Candidates must meet specific educational requirements: a BSc in Computer Science for certain posts, an MBA (Finance) for others, and for the remaining roles an MSc, MTech or integrated degree in fields such as geophysics, applied geophysics, marine geophysics, exploration geophysics, geology, applied geology, chemistry, water resources, hydrology, geo‑informatics, remote sensing or GIS.

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required, and the age ceiling is 35 years, calculated as of the interview date, with age relaxation for reserved categories. The selection process will involve a walk‑in interview and verification of documents. Successful applicants will receive a monthly remuneration ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹35,000, plus other allowances.

The walk‑in interviews will be conducted on 17, 19 and 21 August at the CSIR‑NGRI campus, located near the NGRI Metro Station on Uppal Road, Hyderabad. Candidates should report between 8:30 am and 10:00 am and carry a hard copy of the completed application form along with original and photocopied documents.
