CPI(M) Analyzes Kerala Loss, Focuses on Organizational Reforms

In response to the Kerala election loss, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) is set to conduct a comprehensive analysis of its organisational framework. The extended state committee meeting, scheduled for September 13‑15 in Kozhikode, will be overseen by General Secretary M.A. Baby and nine senior politburo members. The agenda includes a deep dive into the anti‑incumbency wave, the party’s campaign tactics, and the performance of the state government. Additionally, the committee will assess grassroots engagement, internal dissent, and the effectiveness of party structures, aiming to identify weaknesses and propose reforms.
