CPCIL Opens 60 Vacancies for Junior Engineering Assistants Across Four Disciplines

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCIL) has announced 60 openings for Junior Engineering Assistant‑IV posts. The distribution is as follows: Production – 40, Mechanical – 10, Electrical – 5, Instrumentation – 5.

The recruitment drive is being conducted through CPCIL’s official website. Applications could be submitted from August 14, and the closure date, originally September 11, has been extended to September 30 to accommodate more candidates.

Candidates must possess a three‑year diploma in the pertinent engineering stream with a minimum of 60% marks from an approved institution. Additionally, at least three years of relevant work experience is compulsory. The upper age limit is set at 30 years, calculated on 1 July 2026, with standard relaxations for reserved categories.

Selection will involve a Computer‑Based Test, shortlisting, document verification, skill‑proficiency evaluation, and possibly a Physical Test (SPPT). The remuneration package ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹1,05,000 per month, accompanied by various allowances and benefits.

The registration fee is ₹500 for General, EWS and OBC candidates. SC, ST, PWD, Ex‑Servicemen and female candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
