Court Ruling Removes All Pending US Charges on Gautam Adani’s Businesses

In a decisive ruling, a U.S. district court has stripped away every pending charge against Gautam Adani and his business empire. The judgment effectively closes the case that had raised questions about the group’s overseas dealings.

Senior advocate Ryan Karanjwala emphasized that the dismissal is irreversible; the same evidence cannot be used to launch a new prosecution. This clears the path for the Adani Group to expand its investments across all jurisdictions, free from the fear of sudden legal action.

Vikas Singh, a senior lawyer and bar association leader, pointed out that the Department of Justice should have sought advice from investigative bodies before filing the original complaint, a step that was overlooked.
