Court Orders Transfer of ED Documents to Vigilance Department

According to the ED, CMRL paid ₹3.28 crore to Vina's firm Exalogic between 2017 and 2019 without receiving any service. While the ED will share its findings and records with the police, the vigilance department must conduct its own investigation to determine whether the payment qualifies as a bribe and whether any criminal offence was committed. An FIR alone does not prove guilt; the allegations must be substantiated through investigation and subsequent legal proceedings.
