Court Orders FIR Against DST Team After Teen Alleges Beatings and Threats

Following a petition filed on August 26, the court directed Mathura Gate police station to register an FIR against seven officers for alleged assault, extortion and framing of a minor in a fake weapon case. The accused include DST constable Dashrath, constables Ankit, Satvir, Hariom, Abhimanyu, Assistant Sub‑Inspector Shivlal and an additional officer. The investigation has been assigned to Atal Bhand police station under the supervision of Sub‑Inspector Hemendra Chaudhary. The family, after learning of the allegations, visited the police station, secured bail for the teenager and observed serious bruises and wounds on his body. The court’s orders have resulted in the formal registration of the case on Friday, and the police have stated that the matter is under investigation.
