Court Finds Aditya Thackeray’s Statements on Disha Sialian Murder Untrue

The High Court has officially declared several of Aditya Thackeray’s claims regarding the Disha Sialian murder to be false. Among the disproved assertions was Thackeray’s claim that he was out of Mumbai on 8 June 2020 because his grandfather had passed away. Records show that the alleged grandfather, Patankar, was alive until 14 June 2020.

Satish Sialian also pointed out that Thackeray previously denied knowing actress Riya Chakravarti, a statement later invalidated by chat logs obtained by the NCB during the investigation of crime number 15/2020. The court’s verification of these documents confirmed Thackeray’s involvement in illicit activities, including drug trafficking and personal consumption of hydroponic weed.

The father emphasized that Thackeray has yet to respond to a defamation notice dated 21 October 2023, which was sent on behalf of the Litigants’ Association’s chairman. The court’s findings reinforce the need for accountability in this high‑profile case.
