Court Documents Reveal Rs 7,985,000 Recovered from Ram Temple Donation Fraud
During a recent hearing, the SIT submitted court‑authenticated records that expose a coordinated scheme to siphon off donations at the Ram Temple. The evidence points to a total recovery of ₹ 7,985,000 from seven of the eight individuals involved.
Lavkush Mishra was seized with ₹ 1,425,000, and Anukalp Mishra with ₹ 1,682,000. Avinash Shukla’s possession list showed ₹ 2,039,000, featuring a large volume of high‑value notes and a mix of foreign currency and silver items.
Karunesh Pandey contributed ₹ 1,807,000 to the recovered sum, while Ramashankar Mishra was linked to ₹ 732,000 in cash and white‑metal valuables. The remaining two accused, Manish Kumar Yadav and Ram Shankar Yadav alias "Tinnu", were caught with ₹ 200,000 and ₹ 100,000 respectively, both claimed to be taken from the devotees' ritual offerings.
All eight suspects—Avinash Shukla, Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Manish Kumar Yadav, Karunesh Pandey, Ramashankar Mishra, Subhash Srivastava and Ram Shankar Yadav (Tinnu)—face charges of fraud, misappropriation of religious donations and illegal possession of valuable items.
