Congress veteran Digvijay Singh vows peaceful pilgrimage across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh

In a press conference held in Bhopal, Digvijay Singh outlined the objectives of the Satya Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra. He emphasized that the march is a non‑violent civic exercise designed to spread awareness of Sanatan Dharma’s timeless principles – truth, justice, compassion and self‑sacrifice.

The flag accompanying the convoy will comprise five colours representing the values Singh associates with Sanatan Dharma, while the Indian tricolour will symbolize national unity. Singh stressed that the pilgrimage does not target any religious community, sect or individual and will respect the rights of all participants along the route.

He also announced a digital petition and a missed‑call campaign to address issues such as “chanda‑chori” (misuse of donations) and alleged vote‑rigging, calling for an independent inquiry and electoral reforms.
