Congress Stresses Independent Inquiry into Alleged Ram Temple Funding Irregularities

Abhishek Dutt, a senior Congress figure, reiterated the party’s demand for an independent judicial probe into the alleged mishandling of funds related to the Ram Temple. He highlighted that the trust’s receipt of donations, its expenditure on construction and rituals, and the appointment of officials have all been subjects of public speculation.

The Congress argues that only a Supreme Court‑appointed commission can guarantee impartiality. Dutt warned that continued secrecy would erode the faith of devotees and the broader public, calling for swift legal action against anyone found culpable.
