Congress Urges Aid for Kerala Flood Victims as Death Toll Rises

Amid the escalating crisis in Kerala, Congress representatives have urged the state government to accelerate aid distribution for families impacted by the heavy rainstorm. The ongoing calamity has triggered river overflows, road blockages and precarious landslide zones.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi both appealed to party workers, volunteers and local authorities to join hands in rescue operations, medical care and shelter provision. They stressed that political rivalries must be set aside to ensure the safety of civilians.

The leaders commended the UDF's relief initiatives while calling for more resources to be allocated for rehabilitation, reconstruction of damaged infrastructure, and support for those who have lost homes.
