Congress Told to Study Its Own Past, Says BJP Leader

Sambit Patra, a senior BJP spokesperson, urged the Congress to read its own historical record after Rahul Gandhi accused the ruling party of undermining the Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP. Patra listed several instances where Congress allegedly broke alliances, including the 1969 expulsion of senior leaders, the 1984 split of the National Conference, and the 1990 collapse of the Janata Dal government that was supported by Rajiv Gandhi. He warned that the party’s current stance on the judiciary is inconsistent with its past actions and called for an apology to the courts.
