Congress Says BJP Plans Massive Voter Deletion Ahead of Karnataka Elections

The Karnataka Congress accused the BJP of a systematic effort to purge more than five million valid voters from the state’s electoral roll during the Special Intensive Revision. Party chief B.K. Hariprasad claimed that the move is part of a larger scheme to use Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy as a “political tool” to undermine Congress. He also reminded the Election Commission that any negligence in the revision process will be scrutinised, and warned that the BJP’s history of electoral manipulation includes exploiting deceased voters’ names.
