Congress internal rift and Ram temple controversy also discussed by Punjab NRI minister
When asked about the ongoing turmoil within the Punjab Congress, Dr. Ravjot Singh dismissed it as an internal party matter and asserted that the public remains largely satisfied with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's performance. The minister claimed that people across age groups and social strata desire Mr. Mann's return to the chief ministerial post and anticipate the Aam Aadmi Party forming the next government.
On the sensitive Ram temple matter, Singh criticized the BJP, stating that any irregularities linked to temple activities must be investigated impartially and that culpable individuals should face legal consequences. He added that the public is watching closely and justice will ultimately prevail.
The minister reiterated that his primary focus continues to be addressing NRI grievances, while also keeping an eye on political developments that could impact the state's stability.
He concluded by urging all stakeholders to respect due process and maintain communal harmony while the investigations proceed.
