Congress Plans Field Study Before BJP Report Submission

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has authorized a new committee called the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Rights, Protection and Empowerment Committee to investigate tribal challenges. Before delivering its findings to the BJP government, Congress will launch an expansive field‑study campaign across the state’s tribal districts. The team, comprising members like Onkar Singh Markam, Funde Lal Marko, Jhumu Solanki, and others, will hold discussions with community leaders, collect grassroots data on water, forest, land, health, and education, and assess livelihood concerns. Umang Singhar emphasized that the party’s recommendations will be rooted in on‑the‑ground realities, reinforcing its pledge to safeguard tribal dignity and pressurize the government on policy lapses.
