Congress MPs Question BJP Protest Inside Parliament Over Exam and Temple Matters

Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Gaurav Gogoi reacted sharply to a staged protest by BJP MPs inside the Parliament complex. Priyanka Gandhi said it was the first time she had witnessed ruling‑party legislators resort to a demonstration inside the precinct, interpreting it as a forced response to opposition pressure.

Gogoi added that during two days of heated debate on the exam controversy, senior opposition figures had spoken while Home Minister Amit Shah was conspicuously absent. He demanded that the minister appear in the house to address the accusations of police misuse of pallet guns in Jharkhand and the alleged mishandling of the "chadhawa theft" case.

The Congress representatives urged the government to treat Parliament as a place of responsibility, not a workshop for a single party, and called for immediate answers from the centre.
