Congress MPs Call for Election Commission Resignation Over Alleged Vote Theft

Congress MP Manoj Kumar questioned whether silence is an option while votes are purportedly being stolen. He asked the defence minister why Delhi has been turned into a fortified cantonment and why the Ministry of Defence was responsible for delivering NIT examination papers via helicopter, yet numerous arrests were made in Delhi and Patna. Kumar criticized the government for focusing on power transition rhetoric instead of addressing the root causes of voter disenfranchisement, urging a swift resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and an immediate re‑poll with secure ballot papers.
