The Indian National Congress has completed a major administrative update in Madhya Pradesh by constituting a new state executive for the Congress Seva Dal and installing eighteen new district chief organizers. The initiative, announced on Wednesday, seeks to revitalize the party’s volunteer framework and improve grassroots connectivity.

The restructuring was executed after thorough deliberations between AIACSD President B.V. Srinivas, AICC Secretary Pratyap Narayan Mishra, and MP Seva Dal president Avnish Bhargava. According to official statements, Bhargava confirmed that the expanded state committee features individuals who demonstrated exceptional dedication and field performance.

Several district organizers were promoted based on their contributions, signaling a merit-based approach to leadership allocation. Bhargava added that this updated roster will provide fresh energy to upcoming mobilization efforts and ensure better alignment across the state.

The organizational shift comes as the MP Congress unit addresses ongoing concerns regarding operational discipline and inter-departmental cooperation. In a parallel development, the party’s youth wing has undergone a stringent accountability drive.

A total of sixty office bearers were suspended following their absence at a nationwide protest rally held in New Delhi on November 1. Among those penalized were nine district presidents, five vice presidents, fourteen general secretaries, and thirty-two secretaries.

The national executive deemed the non-attendance as a grave disciplinary breach, enforcing immediate suspensions until further instructions. This action is part of a larger wave of disciplinary measures targeting youth leaders across the country, with approximately two hundred fifteen functionaries suspended nationwide.

The November 1 rally was convened to oppose alleged voter list manipulations and the controversial Special Intensive Revision, drawing participants from Congress and allied INDIA bloc factions.
