Congress Leaders Accused of Double Standards on Jharkhand Violence

BJP parliamentarian Arun Singh joined the chorus, pointing out that the Congress government in Jharkhand allegedly sanctioned a harsh crackdown on protesting youth. Singh asked why Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi have not visited the state to witness the alleged brutality. He claimed the party is avoiding the issue and urged the leaders to see the situation on the ground. Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde also targeted the opposition, saying the central government and the Home Minister are ready to discuss the matter, but the opposition is blocking any debate in the House.
