Congress attacks BJP-RSS alliance, cites Ayodhya temple theft and NEET controversy

In a broader critique of the ruling coalition, Harshvardhan Sapkal accused the BJP and RSS of pursuing a policy of “chanting Rama’s name while looting others’ assets.” He referenced the recent high‑value theft at the Ayodhya Ram temple, alleging that individuals appointed by the Modi government were implicated. Sapkal claimed that both the BJP and RSS have remained conspicuously silent on the investigation, which is being handled by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) he described as a puppet of the government.

The Congress leader also challenged Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to accept invitations to the forthcoming Ram Raksha Yatra, suggesting that their participation would expose the hypocrisy of their earlier statements. He warned that attempting to link the Congress party with Sonam Wangchuk’s grievances is a misleading political ploy.
