Congress Accused of Using Bikaner House to Promote Rehan Vadra

BJP spokesperson NV Subhash has accused the Congress of trying to introduce Rehan Vadra as a fresh political face ahead of the upcoming elections. Addressing the issue from Hyderabad on October 24, Subhash targeted the Gandhi family's leadership.

According to Subhash, the Congress and especially the Gandhi family wanted to push forward Rehan Vadra, the son of Priyanka Gandhi, to give the country a new face.

He said Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi had failed to fulfil the hopes of the public. Subhash added that efforts to launch and re-launch Rahul Gandhi had not worked, prompting the party to turn to the new generation through Rehan Vadra.

The Congress, he alleged, chose Bikaner House as the venue for this introduction. Bikaner House is a non-political space, and Subhash said political culture and issues were presented there. Following this, the venue's management removed about 70 posters, as the place is supposed to remain free of politics.

Subhash said the incident demonstrates that the Congress seeks public attention on any platform, whether political or non-political. He condemned the misuse of non-political cultural spaces by political parties for personal benefit.

He clarified that the BJP was not connected to the management's action. He also said the opposition routinely creates uproar and then blames the Narendra Modi government.
