Commuters Urged to Allow Extra Time as Protest Disrupts Delhi Traffic

Delhi Airport’s latest travel advisory asks passengers to factor in extra travel time after police warned of traffic bottlenecks related to a Canton‑Janata Party rally that lacks official clearance. The airport’s statement emphasized heightened security protocols and recommended that passengers use alternative transport modes such as taxis, city buses, or ride‑sharing services. It also advised travelers to avoid non‑essential trips, follow real‑time traffic bulletins, and keep an eye on official social media channels for updates on road conditions and possible easing of restrictions.
