CM Yadav Hails Court Verdict on Bhojshala Temple Status

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav celebrated the High Court's Friday ruling on the Bhojshala dispute, describing it as a triumph for historical truth and religious rights. The Indore bench confirmed the site's origins under King Bhoj as a temple dedicated to Goddess Vagdevi, resolving a prolonged legal battle. This historic judgment mandates the Archaeological Survey of India to manage and protect Bhojshala as a sacred monument, guaranteeing worship access for pilgrims. Yadav called it a defining chapter in preserving cultural legacy and devotional practices. Addressing the iconic Saraswati statue in London's museum, the CM urged the Centre to expedite its return to India, assuring state-level initiatives to facilitate this. He underscored the ethos of religious harmony and brotherhood that defines the state's ethos. The government pledges seamless execution of the order, promoting peace and cultural reverence. Dr. Swapna Verma of BJP Mahila Morcha lauded the judiciary, saying it bolsters public trust in legal institutions and affirms the Hindu society's longstanding reverence for courts. Devotees can now freely conduct rituals at Dhar's Bhojshala.
