CM Sukhu Highlights Cultural Unity During Virtual Message at Canadian Dussehra

In a virtual address broadcast to the Parliament Hill celebration, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu emphasized the role of the Indian diaspora in preserving and promoting cultural traditions overseas. He said the enthusiasm of expatriates in celebrating festivals, arts and values illustrates the enduring legacy of Indian civilization.

Sukhu urged that, regardless of how powerful evil may appear, righteousness will ultimately prevail. His remarks were well received by the diverse audience, which included members of more than thirty‑five India‑Canada organisations collaborating under the HPGA banner.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also extended warm wishes, recognizing the contributions of Indo‑Canadian communities to Canada’s multicultural fabric.
