CM Sarma criticises Congress for double standards on election results

Sarma also accused the Congress party of applying a double standard when it comes to accepting election outcomes. He noted that the party readily embraces democratic processes after a victory, yet questions the credibility of results when it faces defeat. The chief minister cited instances from recent polls in Assam and Kerala, arguing that the Congress only respects outcomes that favour its own candidates, thereby undermining the principle of a neutral electorate.
