CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Minority Education Reforms Lauded by Former Board Chairman

Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been applauded by former Madarsa Education Board chairman Mufti Shamoon Kasmi for re‑launching madarsa schools with a comprehensive humanities syllabus. The reform, according to Kasmi, aims to equip underprivileged students with skills that could lead them to professional careers such as engineering, medicine, and civil services.

Kasmi emphasized that the move reflects a genuine effort by the state administration to improve minority education. He also highlighted that the upcoming Uttarakhand Minority Education Authority will further safeguard the interests of the community and urged political parties to stop using Muslims as a bargaining chip in elections.
