CM Dhami Thanks Centre as Uttarakhand’s Mountain Roads Set for Expansion

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed gratitude to the central government after the announcement of the ₹297.37 crore road widening plan. In a post on X, Dhami praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and Minister Gadkari’s commitment, noting that the initiative will mark a new milestone in the state’s connectivity drive. He added that the upgraded roads will open up remote pilgrimage sites, stimulate tourism, and provide a much‑needed boost to the local economy by easing the transport of agricultural produce and small‑scale goods.
