CM Criticizes Previous BJD Govt for Delaying Campus Elections

Chief Minister Majhi did not shy away from pointing fingers at the previous Biju Janata Dal government. He alleged that the former administration deliberately postponed student union elections to serve its own political interests, thereby stripping young people of their democratic rights.

According to Majhi, the delay prevented students from expressing their aspirations and participating in the decision‑making process that shapes campus life. He claimed that his current government has rectified that mistake by successfully conducting the polls and restoring democratic spirit in colleges and universities.
