CM Adhikari Links 'Developed Bengal' Goal to India's Vision for 2047

In his Independence Day address, the West Bengal chief minister connected the ambition of a "Developed Bengal" with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pledge for a "Developed India" by 2047. He outlined a roadmap that stretches from the Sundarbans in the south to the northern hill ranges, focusing on job creation, women empowerment, and enhanced security. Adhikari also recalled the state's founding on June 20, 1947, by Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pranabananda Maharaj, noting the original intent to merge with the Indian Union.
