CM Accuses Enforcement Agencies of Targeting Congress Leaders in Recent Raids

During the same press briefing, Shivakumar defended Public Works Department minister Satish Jarkiholi after an Enforcement Directorate raid on his premises. The chief minister described Jarkiholi as a colleague who has not committed any wrongdoing and operates within the law.

He further alleged that investigative agencies are selectively targeting Congress politicians while ignoring similar actions by members of rival parties. "They are planning to trap three or four of our leaders and the entire opposition. No BJP member who has gone abroad or transferred money is being investigated," Shivakumar claimed.

The accusations highlight growing tensions between the state government and central investigative bodies, with the CM insisting that the raids are politically motivated.
