CJP Organises Non‑Violent Protest From India Gate to Police HQ Over Broken Youth Commitments

New Delhi, 24 August – The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has issued a call for a peaceful march set for 5 September. The route will trace a path from India Gate to the Delhi Police headquarters, symbolising the party’s demand that the Union government honour the promises presented to the country’s youth on 25 July 2026.

The statement highlighted that the march will be fronted by families of NEET aspirants who lost their lives and by relatives of individuals alleging police excesses. CJP affirmed that the protest will remain calm, orderly, and inclusive of students and young citizens from across India.

In a recent National Working Committee session, CJP leaders reviewed the central government's adherence to the July pledges. They expressed serious doubt about the government's intent, citing a month‑long delay, reliance on technical loopholes, and a reluctance to provide clear commitments.

The party also cited a Supreme Court hearing on 18 August, where the court repeatedly demanded that the centre share a consolidated FIR register for a possible collective review. CJP claims the government has yet to deliver a concrete promise on this front.

CJP warned that tolerating further postponement would be mistaken for weakness. The party insists that the upcoming march is a necessary and peaceful means to pressure the authorities into fulfilling their obligations.
