CJP Demands SC/ST Act Enforcement After Attack on Dalit Family

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) intensified its protest outside the Parliament Street police station after the arrest of influencer Svatantra Bhadrawaj. Party spokesperson Saurav Das questioned why the FIR did not include an attempted murder charge, given Bhadrawaj’s own podcast admission of trying to kill Sanjay Kumar. The CJP urged authorities to apply the SC/ST Act strictly, citing the victim’s Dalit background. Leaders from the Azaad Samaj Party, the Purnia MP Pappu Yadav, and Indian Youth Congress also joined the demonstration, pressing for the identification and arrest of all individuals involved. The party’s legal team met with senior police officials, seeking a tougher stance on the case.
