Citywide Ban Imposed on Murder, Loot and Assault Suspects

A citywide exclusion directive has been enforced by Mumbai’s law‑enforcement agencies, targeting twelve suspected criminals involved in murder, robbery, and violent intimidation. The crackdown, carried out in the northern periphery of the city, stems from coordinated requests by multiple police stations. DCP Gajanan Shivling Rajmane explained that the ban, lasting a full year, is intended to create a safer environment for ordinary citizens. The police reiterated that anyone found breaching the order will face severe legal action as per state legislation, and appealed for community cooperation in reporting any sightings of the barred individuals.
