Chief Minister approves expanded school bus service in Chennai

Under the direction of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, the MTC has increased its school‑transport offering. The added fleet is expected to cut travel time for schoolchildren, lessen overcrowding on public buses, and provide a more reliable schedule. Transport Minister A. Vijay Tamilar has inspected the new buses ahead of launch, promising ongoing monitoring and the possibility of further extensions based on demand.
