Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the 'Chhattisgarh Next Youth Conclave' organized by Aaj Ki Jandhara Media Group in the capital Raipur today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored young talents who have brought laurels to the state by doing commendable work in various fields. He also released the 'Aaj Ki Jandhara Literary Annual-2026' published on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of Aaj Ki Jandhara.

Interacting cordially with the youth, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the youth of Chhattisgarh are talented, hardworking, and full of potential. The new thinking, energy, and creativity of the youth are the greatest strength of the state's future. Youth should express their views directly, honestly, and with courage, and should strive to bring about positive change in society through their ideas and actions. He said that with changing times, a new world of opportunities has opened up for the youth. The need is for them to recognize their talent, set big goals, and move forward with full confidence to achieve them.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the youth of the country are getting ample opportunities to showcase their talent and realize new ideas. Today, India's youth are making their mark in every field including innovation, startups, science, technology, sports, art, and culture. The youth of Chhattisgarh also have immense potential and will play a significant role in building a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India through their talent and hard work.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, referring to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's popular program 'Mann Ki Baat', said that this program has become a powerful medium for bringing forward inspiring initiatives happening in different parts of the country and for encouraging public participation. Referring to the message of environmental protection, nutrition, and public participation, he discussed the 'Har Ghar Munga, Ghar Ghar Munga' campaign. The Chief Minister said that drumstick is an easy and local source of nutrition. By taking it to every household through public participation, the resolve for a healthy and well-nourished Chhattisgarh can be further strengthened.

*Nature and Culture are Chhattisgarh's Biggest Identity*

Chief Minister Shri Sai, referring to the natural and cultural richness of Chhattisgarh, said that our state is enriched by nature's incomparable gifts. The forests, mountains, waterfalls, simple village life, and diverse folk traditions here give Chhattisgarh a distinct identity. Referring to Madheshwar mountain and its natural rock formation resembling a Shivling, he said that there are many such places in the state with immense tourism potential.

He said that the true soul of Chhattisgarh resides in its villages, folk life, and culture. The various dialects of the state, including Sadri, folk art, folk songs, and Nagpuri music, enrich our cultural heritage. The new generation should move forward with modernity while staying connected to their roots, language, dialects, and cultural heritage.

*Struggle is the only source of strength to move forward*

Sharing his life experiences with the youth, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that his father's shadow was lifted from his head at a very young age, and the responsibility of the family fell on his shoulders. He fulfilled his family responsibilities by farming and tried to ensure the education of his younger brothers. The difficult circumstances of life taught him to struggle and not shy away from responsibilities.

He told the youth that circumstances are not always favorable in life, but instead of getting scared of difficulties, one should face them and move forward. Effort made with hard work, patience, and determination opens new avenues for a person to move forward.

During the program, renowned artist Shri Piyush Mishra appreciated the rich art and culture of Chhattisgarh. He especially recalled the contribution of the great Pandwani artist Padmavibhushan late Smt. Teejan Bai, saying that she brought to life various characters of the Mahabharata on stage through her amazing art and gave Pandwani a distinct identity in the country and the world. Shri Mishra also performed his famous song 'Aarambh Hai Prachand' at the program.

Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated the young talents honored at the conclave and wished them a bright future. He said that such events bring the ideas, achievements, and talent of the youth to the society, while also providing them with new energy and inspiration. On this occasion, Chief Minister's advisor Shri Krishna Das, Chief Minister's Special Secretary Shri Rajat Bansal, Editor-in-Chief of Aaj Ki Jandhara Shri Subhash Mishra, along with distinguished citizens from various fields and a large number of youth were present.
