Western and central states brace for thunderstorms and localized floods

Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall today and again between September 18‑20. Certain pockets may even face heavy downpours from now until the 17th.

Rajasthan is also on alert, with western districts expecting showers from today through September 18, while eastern areas could see similar conditions up to September 20. Central India, including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, remains under the influence of active monsoon cells, with scattered thunderstorms and possible lightning strikes reported across the region.
