Villages' Picture to Change with Ownership Scheme: Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma Distributes Property Rights Records in Sarangarh; Target of 10 Lakh Card Distribution
Raipur, The 'Swamitva Yojana' (Ownership Scheme) is transforming the landscape of rural India through drone technology and modern mapping. Under this scheme, accurate surveys of properties in inhabited areas of villages across Chhattisgarh and the entire country are being conducted, and villagers are being provided with property cards granting legal ownership. This is helping to reduce land disputes and making it easier to obtain bank loans.
State Government's Target of Distributing 10 Lakh Cards Under Swamitva Yojana
Revenue Minister of the state, Shri Tank Ram Verma, distributed property rights records (Swamitva Cards) to citizens under the 'Swamitva Yojana' at a program organized at the Mandi premises in Sarangarh. On this occasion, Minister Shri Verma stated that so far, 4 lakh property rights records have been distributed in Chhattisgarh under the Swamitva Yojana. The state government has set a target of distributing 10 lakh cards, which will be completed by next year. He informed that 15,000 Swamitva cards have been prepared so far in the newly formed Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. Minister Verma urged citizens to keep their Swamitva cards safe.
Committed to Making Chhattisgarh a Leading State by 2047
Highlighting the achievements and development priorities of the state government, Minister Shri Verma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the government is continuously working on the principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (Together with all, Development for all). Immediately after assuming office, the government approved 1.8 million Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses. Furthermore, ambitious schemes like 'Matari Vandan' and the successful implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 are establishing new dimensions of progress in the state. He mentioned that historic success has been achieved in making Bastar free from Naxalism. The government is committed to making Chhattisgarh a leading state in the country by the year 2047, in line with the vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047' (Developed India 2047).
On this occasion, the District Panchayat President and Vice-President, District Panchayat members, former MLA Smt. Kerabai Manhar, and a large number of dignitaries and villagers were present.
