In the Manikpur outpost area, there was a dispute between BJP and independent party workers over DJ playing and on seeing the dispute turned into a fight. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
According to the information received, there has been a fight between BJP and independent party workers in Ravi Shankar Valmiki residence area under Manikpur outpost. BJP workers alleged that while reciting Hanuman Chalisa, the driver and DJ operator of the independent party’s pickup vehicle and the DJ operator obstructed the worship by playing DJ in a loud voice. On this, the dispute increased between the two groups and the matter reached the fight. After the incident, there was a crowd of passers -by and all the spectacle started to see. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and are busy controlling the situation. At the same time, the police officers have also reached Manikpur outpost.
Additional Superintendent of Police UBS Chauhan said that it was reported that during the street raid of a national party in ward number 26, the promotional vehicle of another candidate was parked there and was being campaigned at a rapid pace. A complaint was received on this and there was some dispute. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The investigation found that the permission given near the vehicle was canceled by the SDM on the basis of a complaint. At that time the vehicle did not have any valid permission. On this basis, the promotional vehicle has been brought to the police station assistance center Manikpur and action is being taken under the Chhattisgarh clamor Act 1985. There has been no talk of assault with the driver. However, his medical examination will be conducted.
