Under Service My Contribution, various activities will be conducted from 23 to 25 September in urban body areas of all districts and from 2 to 8 October across the state

At a video conference chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel in Raipur at the Ministry Mahanadi building, directions were given to collectors of all districts regarding the Service My Contribution campaign from 23-25 September and 2-8 October. The Service Commitment campaign runs from 17 September to 17 October 2026 and includes activities such as service and cleanliness, food and clothing donation, education support, skill and knowledge donation, Green Chhattisgarh and environmental protection, health and blood donation, organ and body donation, social security, awareness, local production and women empowerment. Participation of NCC, NSS, volunteers, self‑help groups, social institutions, youth organisations and ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ was emphasized, with photographs to be uploaded on the My Bharat portal. Families of deceased donors of body and organs will be honoured and their feedback sought. The Service My Contribution celebration will be held as a Service Commitment and Donation Festival from 23‑25 September in all district urban bodies and a grand event from 2‑8 October state‑wide, featuring the same activities, water conservation, plastic campaign, mega blood donation, free health check‑up camps, food donation, dignity kits, book trees, school kits and support for underprivileged children. Under the Green Chhattisgarh ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ initiative, 10,000 saplings of local species will be planted. The Chief Secretary directed that the donation festival benefits orphanages, old age homes and needy sections, and that institutions be actively involved. He also instructed timely resolution of applications to Service Setu camps, inclusion of 26 central schemes, and reviewing complaints on the Chief Minister’s helpline and Lok Seva Guarantee. Collectors were urged to lead their districts effectively, record all activities in a Google sheet for monitoring, ensure accuracy in crop girder surveys, and review Water Life Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission progress weekly, accelerating tap connections and addressing issues with appropriate engineering support. The Chief Secretary emphasized making the Service Commitment campaign a lasting platform for public participation, service spirit and social cooperation to propel Chhattisgarh as a proactive front‑runner state. The conference also included secretaries of General Administration, IT, the Public Relations Commissioner and other officials.
