Raipur – A delegation of the Global Travel Association (GTA) led by its President Mr. Manish Jain met Tourism Minister Mr. Rajesh Agrawal and presented a courtesy gift. During the meeting, extensive and meaningful discussions were held on expanding tourism potential in Chhattisgarh, strengthening the state's presence on the national tourism map, and various important topics related to the overall development of the tourism sector. The discussion covered the broad possibilities for tourism development in Chhattisgarh, including the state's air connectivity, road links, development of tourism infrastructure, access to major tourist spots, expansion of necessary facilities for tourists, and promotion of tourism activities. The GTA delegation submitted several suggestions to the minister. Tourism Minister Mr. Rajesh Agrawal said that Chhattisgarh is a state rich in natural beauty, tribal and cultural heritage, historical monuments, and religious tourism. Considering the vast tourism potential, continuous efforts are being made to expand facilities at tourist sites, improve connectivity, and provide quality experiences to visitors. He also shared several important suggestions for overall tourism development. During the meeting, GTA Secretary General Mr. Shubham Agrawal and Treasurer Mr. Rahul Vaswani presented Mr. Agrawal with a formal invitation to attend the GTA Conclave scheduled for August 22. The minister accepted the invitation and agreed to attend as the chief guest. The delegation expressed confidence that, with the cooperation of the state government and guidance of the tourism department, coordination between the private sector and tourism industry in Chhattisgarh will become stronger, leading to broader promotion of the state's tourist destinations and giving them a new identity at the national level. The meeting was attended by GTA members Mr. Akash Dudhani, Mr. Akash Agrawal, Mr. Anshul Khare, Mr. Sunny Bansal, Mr. Pranay and Mr. Ayush Bajaj.
