Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal Listens to Common Peoples Problems in Public Meeting
Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, while advancing the state government's commitment to good governance, sensitive administration and swift resolution of public issues in the province, met warmly with a large number of citizens at a public meeting organized at his private residence in Lakhanpur. He listened to the people's problems, demands and suggestions with seriousness and sensitivity and gave instructions to the concerned officials to ensure prompt and quality resolution based on priority. During the public meeting, citizens from various villages and urban areas of the region raised their problems and demands before Minister Agrawal on issues such as drinking water, roads, electricity, health, education, revenue, social security schemes, tourism development, cultural activities and other public welfare matters. The minister examined each application seriously and directed the departmental officials to take time-bound action and ensure regular review of each case. On this occasion, Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal said that the public's trust is our greatest capital. The real purpose of government schemes will be fulfilled only when the problem of every needy person is solved in time. Public meetings are a strong medium of trust between citizens and the government. Our priority is that people should not have to wander unnecessarily for solutions to their problems and should receive swift, transparent and sensitive administration. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is working with the highest priority on good governance, transparency and accountability. In line with this sentiment, representatives and administration are continuously establishing dialogue between citizens and the government to ensure rapid resolution of their problems. He asked officials to ensure that each application received in the public meeting is acted upon seriously and resolved within the stipulated time frame. Minister Agrawal said that delivering the benefits of various welfare schemes to the final beneficiary is the government's highest priority. He directed officials that no negligence should be shown in providing scheme benefits to eligible beneficiaries and that humanitarian sensitivity should be given utmost importance in solving public problems.
