On the second day of the Tiranga Yatra, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma and Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap performed formal worship at Maa Danteshwari Temple. Thereafter, they addressed the Tiranga Yatra program organized at the Dantewada bus stand.

Deputy Chief Minister paid homage to 211 martyred soldiers of the district.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, while paying homage to the 211 supreme martyred soldiers of Dantewada district, said that the elimination of Naxalism today has been possible with the invaluable cooperation of the people of Bastar, community leaders, public representatives, and journalists. He said that the Tiranga Yatra is passing through areas where it was once difficult to reach due to Naxal terror. Today, the tricolor is being unfurled with full pride and enthusiasm in those very areas.

Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap appealed to hoist the tricolor in every house.

Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap said that the tricolor is a symbol of the pride, honor, and prestige of the country. He appealed to the general public to hoist the tricolor in their homes to make the Tiranga Yatra successful and to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with a spirit of patriotism on the occasion of Independence Day.

During this, MLA Mr. Chaitram Atami, District Panchayat President Mr. Nandlal Mudami, Chhattisgarh State Women's Commission member Mrs. Ojaswi Mandavi, Municipal Council President Mrs. Payal Gupta, Janpad Panchayat President Mrs. Sunita Bhaskar, public representatives, along with Bastar IG Mr. Badrinath Meena, DIG Mr. Kamal Lochan Kashyap, Collector Mr. Devesh Kumar Dhruw, Superintendent of Police Mr. Chandramohan Singh, DFO Mr. Ramkrishna Ranganath Way, and a large number of general public were present.
