Ten Accused Found Guilty in 2013 Jhiram Ghati Naxal Attack

After a twelve‑year investigation, the NIA’s special bench in Jagdalpur concluded that ten suspects were responsible for the large‑scale assault on Jhiram Ghati, where insurgents opened indiscriminate fire on villagers. The court affirmed the prosecution’s charge of murder of 27 persons and attempted murder of 15 others.
