The Takhatpur Janpad Panchayat’s leadership structure has been rocked by the removal of its Chief Executive Officer, SatyaVrat Tiwari. The suspension was enacted after the CEO allegedly disregarded a state instruction to free Development Extension Officer Gopi Singh Kshatriya within a ten‑day window.

The transfer directive, dated September 29, 2025, moved the officer to Lormi in Mungeli district and required his duties at Takhatpur to be cleared promptly. The failure to meet this timeline was cited as a breach of discipline and administrative negligence.
