Success for efforts of Labor Minister Mr. Lakhan Lal Dewangan

Raipur / Significant success has been achieved in the direction of providing better health facilities to registered workers and their family members of Bilaspur district due to the efforts of the state's Labor Minister, Mr. Lakhan Lal Dewangan. Approval has been granted for 5 acres of land for the establishment of a 100-bed ESIC hospital in the village of Ranghi (Bilha), Bilaspur. This is a health project worth more than 100 crore.

For a long time, there was a demand for the establishment of an ESIC hospital for the treatment of registered workers and their dependent family members in Bilaspur district. With the objective of providing better and accessible health facilities to the workers, Labor Minister Mr. Lakhan Lal Dewangan had written a letter to the Union Labor and Employment Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, urging him to provide the necessary land for the establishment of a 100-bed ESIC hospital in Bilaspur.

In the 198th board meeting of the ESIC Corporation held on June 30, 2026, approval was granted for 5 acres of land for the establishment of a 100-bed ESIC hospital in the village of Ranghi, Bilaspur. With the establishment of the hospital, registered workers associated with ESIC and their dependent family members in Bilaspur and surrounding areas will be able to get better, accessible, and quality health facilities. This will also reduce the dependence of worker families on distant areas for treatment.
