Students Tour Chhattisgarh Assembly to Learn Democratic Processes

The monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislature turned into a live classroom for a group of 11th and 12th graders from Shakuntala School, Bilaspur. The students entered the assembly chamber, watched legislators debate development projects, and saw how motions are moved and voted upon. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai engaged the students in a candid conversation, stating that the future of the state rests on educated youth who understand that democracy is a day‑to‑day engagement, not merely an election day event. Speaker Dr. Raman Singh welcomed the young observers, urging them to study the Constitution and embrace their civic duties.
