Special People's Court Scheduled for 21, 22 and 23 August

Raipur, July 2, 2026 – To deliver justice in a simple and accessible manner to every household and to embody the spirit of justice through mutual participation and consent, the Supreme Court of India has launched the Solution Ceremony 2026 starting from April 21, 2026. Its culmination will be the organization of a Special People's Court on 21, 22 and 23 August 2026. The Special People's Court will be held within the Supreme Court premises on 21, 22 and 23 August, and will include pending cases of the Supreme Court. Prior reconciliation meetings for the Special People's Court will be organized at state, district, taluka, High Court legal service authority, committee‑based mediation centres. Parties can participate in these reconciliation attempts through physical or virtual (online) meetings. The aim of this solution ceremony (Special People's Court) is to reconcile and, by mutual consent, execute suitable pending cases in the Supreme Court. Advocates, litigants and all concerned parties are invited to actively participate in this campaign. The solution ceremony held on April 21 sought resolution through mutual consent and dialogue. These reconciliation meetings were conducted at state, district, taluka, High Court legal service authority, committee‑based mediation centres, with the help of trained mediators and the secretary of the district legal service authority committee. To include your case (pending in the Supreme Court) in the solution ceremony (Special People's Court), a Google Form has been prepared.
