Sindhi Community is an Example of Self-Respect and Entrepreneurship: Governor Ramen Decka

Raipur, Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramen Decka said that the Sindhi community is a living example of self-respect and self-reliance. Despite suffering the horrors of partition and the pain of displacement, this community has not only re-established itself through its hard work and firm determination but has also played a leading role in nation-building. Governor Shri Decka was speaking as the chief guest at the 'Mukhi Samvad' (dialogue, argument, and suggestion discussion) program organized by Pujya Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat in Raipur today.

Creating a New History by Turning the Pain of Displacement into Strength

Addressing the program, the Governor said that the Sindhi community, leaving behind their homeland, property, and cultural heritage during the partition, turned that immense pain into their strength. Despite difficult circumstances, the community has achieved remarkable milestones in the fields of business, industry, education, and social service, while preserving its culture and traditions.

Panchayats are the Backbone of Society, Unity of 128 Panchayats is Commendable

Shri Decka said that the backbone of any society is its panchayats. The panchayat system of the Sindhi community promotes progressive thinking along with maintaining social harmony. He expressed his happiness that representatives from 128 panchayats across the state have gathered on one platform for 'Mukhi Samvad', which reflects the organizational strength of the community.

Call to Connect the Youth Generation with Language and Culture

The Governor appealed to the community representatives to make united efforts for the preservation of the Sindhi language, culture, and traditions. He particularly emphasized connecting children and the younger generation with their cultural roots and further empowering women through the women's wing.

At the end of the program, the Governor congratulated Pujya Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat for the successful event. On this occasion, senior officials of the organization, Mukhis and representatives of panchayats from various regions of the state, members of the women's wing, and a large number of community members were present.
